I like to read. By that, I don’t mean books, but news, articles and anything that interests me.

Chris McCandless wrote in his diary before he died, “Happiness is only real when shared.”

Lord Byron quoted, “All who would win joy, must share it; happiness was born a twin.”

I love to share the good news, the gospel. Enjoy what I have to offer.

At the end of every happy share, I would also include my thoughts, and while I make every effort to think before I make comments, everybody makes mistakes, needs time to mature, nobody’s perfect, so just enjoy them with popcorn.

Words like these represents my thoughts! Great to read with coffee and tiramisu.

Jeric’s Logic Pro Handbook

I used to create music with Cubase/Nuendo but having heard so much about Logic Pro, and our company finally getting hands on it, I’ve decided to try it!

It’s quite interesting how it works for music makers, song writers and producers differently. And for a learner’s tool, indeed, it’s great.

Here, I’ll share with you all the nice handy tips and features of Logic Pro.

Italian Robbers, Green Tea Coffee, Monday

Time is 4:13pm

I’m at U Cafe again. Had a nice chat with the lady boss, she told me she was robbed in Italy this year! It seems that the culture in Italy is quite similar to Taiwan.

I had a nice new drink, Green Tea Coffee, that she concocted.

I’ll be having my lesson in the evening, and I hear that Apple’s looking for my guitar already. Can’t wait to see how it looks and sound!

Gary Cao Ge, Tiny Water Melon, U Cafe

Time is 4:05pm

I’m here again at U Cafe. Had a nice chat with the lady boss, and she mentioned that Gary had been here twice! I revealed that we were once under the same manager. He still lives around the area so I guess he still comes around from time to time.

Anyways, she served us very nice tiny watermelon.

Bitten, Twice, Shanghai

May, 2007

Picture this: You get awaken at 8am, and informed to fly to Shanghai on the very same day.

That’s how I landed there.

I visited Oriental Sky, it was an amazing entertainment company, much like Shanghai itself. Shanghai, was like most people told me, more advanced than you’d think.

They liked me and my works, and our deal almost pulled through, until the director of Warner Music Taiwan also expressed similar interests. My manager had to make the best decision, and thus, I was to go with the latter.

Unfortunately, the director’s father passed away and he took a long leave. Our contract waited along with his absence.

Eventually, it never happened. I was stranded, again.

The Music Journey

This book was written so that anyone can understand the different milestones I met during the journey for my music release.

It may mean something or nothing to different people, but ultimately, I hope it would inspire those who seek inspirations.

I always believed that everything happens for a reason, and nothing bad that happened is all that bad – it’s just the prelude to something good to come.
