Bitten, Twice, Shanghai

Picture this: You get awaken at 8am, and informed to fly to Shanghai on the very same day.

That’s how I landed there.

I visited Oriental Sky, it was an amazing entertainment company, much like Shanghai itself. Shanghai, was like most people told me, more advanced than you’d think.

They liked me and my works, and our deal almost pulled through, until the director of Warner Music Taiwan also expressed similar interests. My manager had to make the best decision, and thus, I was to go with the latter.

Unfortunately, the director’s father passed away and he took a long leave. Our contract waited along with his absence.

Eventually, it never happened. I was stranded, again.
